Return Policy

Items are only eligible for store credit.

  • To be eligible for store credit, your item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tags still attached. 
  • To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase with an order number is required.
  • Local Pickup Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase.
  • If your item was shipped, you must contact happilyhayesboutique@gmail.com within 4 days of receipt to start your return.   
  • If eligible for a store credit/return, please email thecoastalmermaidboutique@gmail.com to initiate your return.
  • When returning an item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Final Sale Items
  • Jewelry & Accessories 
  • Personalized Items 
  • Bathing Suits
  • Pacifiers
  • Headbands/Bows
  • Gift Cards
  • Preorders and Presales

Return Credit

  • Once your return has been received and processed, you will receive a notification via email.  
  • Only items that have been approved for return will be credited. 
  • Credits will be issued within two business days after the return has been processed. 

Exchanges 

  • Currently not processing exchanges at the time. Please place a new order for the items you'd like and return the original items for a credit. 

Return Fees/Charges

  • There are no processing fees for returns.
  • Original and Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.

Damaged Items 

  • To return a damaged item, follow the same process as a normal return but please include a short note specifying the issue and attach a photo if possible. 

Personalized Items 

  • Personalized items, will be personalized as shown on order form. Coastal Mermaid Boutique is not responsible for incorrect order of monogram unless it was our error.
